When PremCom opened it's doors in 1992, Premise Communications was the focus.  We became the experts in WNY for anything communications related - Cabling Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure and Wide Area Networking.

Times sure have changed... While PremCom is still focused on all things Communication, the way people and companies communicate has evolved and continues to evolve.  Specifically in 2017, the shift from Premise Based Telephony to Cloud Telephony is going to be one of the biggest changes in our industry - and we are ready!

So, Why Cloud Telephony?


If you know PremCom, you know that we have been providing premise based telephone solutions for over 10 years.  The hosted market, especially locally in WNY has had it's bumps and bruises and the national providers were just too expensive.

Everything has changed in the hosted telephony space.  Pricing has come down drastically while services and reliability have increased.  Paying a monthly fee for an all in one corporate telephony solution is becoming as easy as signing up for Internet access.

According to Gartner, Cloud communication solutions have "become [the] preferred choice due to superior economics, flexibility, reliability, security and scalability." Cloud UC will account for 25% of 2017 line shipments according to telecom and IT analyst firm MZA.  Globally its estimated that Cloud will overtake premise shipments within the next 4-5 years.
