Danny O'Dea
Danny O'Dea was employed at PremCom Corporation from 1996 to 2007 when he lost his 18-month battle against brain cancer. He was 39.
Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and Potsdam State College, where he was a member of Phi Chi Epsilon fraternity.

In 1996, Danny joined PremCom as an account executive assisting customers with education and banking. He secured a $10 million contract with Clarion University as well as multiyear contracts with Allegheny College. He also helped Suchak Data Systems design an interactive voice response network for Evans National Bank, Bank of Akron and Lyons National Bank.
Promoted to emerging technology coordinator at PremCom in 2001, he developed markets and strategies that made the company a leader in voice over Internet phone services. His promotion of ShoreTel products earned him an invitation to ring the opening bell at the NASDAQ exchange when ShoreTel went public.
Danny was named Vice President of Sales in 2004 and partner and Chief Technology Officer in 2006.
Active in the Western New York information technology community, Danny was a board member of Info Tech Niagara and the Academy of Information Technology.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Julie A. Rotella; a daughter, Ava; two sons, William and John; a brother, William; and three sisters, Nora Stevens, Ellen Mary and Ann.
