PremCom CEO Peter Proulx had an opportunity to participate in ShoreTel’s first annual industry analyst event this past month. Over two days, he spent time with ShoreTel customers and partners like PremCom who were asked to speak at the event. The event was attended by 20 industry analysts who cover the unified communications market in the US and Globally.
The customer participants included CNET Networks, mentoring organization Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ireland’s largest recruitment and HR solutions organization CPL, architect and design firm Gensler, Hitachi Consulting, the Osborne Maledon law firm, and Safeway Insurance.
“It was interesting to hear how ShoreTel’s hardware and software platform had a positive affect on each of these organizations. I guess I shouldn’t have really been surprised as this is a common theme that rings true with PremCom’s ShoreTel customer base”, Proulx said. “The real surprise was the feedback that we received from the industry analyst! They bring a much broader perspective on the current state of the market. ShoreTel has certainly built a better mouse trap”, he added. The analysts were impressed by simple to understand architecture, completeness of the product line and the speed of which ShoreTel has gained market share. ShoreTel has clearly captured their attention.
